Tunbridge Wells Ice Rink Returns December 5
The enchanting Tunbridge Wells ice rink is set to make a grand return to the picturesque Calverley Grounds this December 5th! Known as Skate TW, this beloved Christmas attraction has been bringing festive cheer to the spa town for 15 years. With towering, glittering trees and a cosy marquee offering warming food and drink, it's the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
Located conveniently opposite the Tunbridge Wells railway station, Skate TW is easily accessible for locals and visitors alike. And with the newly-opened Vietnamese street food restaurant, Pho, at the park's entrance, your taste buds are in for a treat!
The rink, organised by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council, has become a staple in the town's festive calendar. It's not just about skating; the event includes visits from Father Christmas, charming chalets, and a serene atmosphere during the Relaxed Skating Sessions, perfect for those who prefer a quieter experience.
While you're in town, explore the delightful independent shops, the renowned Hoopers department store, and the iconic Pantiles. Just a short walk away, you'll find the Royal Victoria Place shopping centre and the bustling Camden Road, filled with artisan delights.
Running until January 4th (closed on Christmas Day), tickets start at £12 for under 16s and £17 for adults. Book early to save £2 per ticket and secure your preferred session. Tickets are available online, by phone, or in person.
This year, Skate TW proudly partners with Aspens Charities, supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and those with learning disabilities. At Burnett's, we love supporting local events and communities, just like this one!
