Rye College Students Shine in Maths Challenge
East Sussex students have made waves in the national maths scene, as pupils from Rye College, part of Aquinas CE Education Trust, recently shone in the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) Challenge. This prestigious competition is designed to extend and inspire young mathematicians through complex, creative problem-solving.
Three talented students, Stan and Ethan from Year 9, and Hannah from Year 10, have progressed to the next stage of the challenge, marking a significant achievement. Additionally, four students clinched Gold awards, five earned Silver, and 16 proudly took home Bronze, underscoring the school’s strong performance and culture of high expectations.
