Young Kent creatives, here's your chance to shine! The "Dear Future Self" contest invites you to film a video message for your future self, capturing the essence of your life today. Whether it's a favourite hobby, a cherished memory, or a simple joy, this is your opportunity to create a personal digital time capsule. Open to UK youth aged 18 and under, this competition is a brilliant way to reflect on who you are and what matters most to you.
The competition encourages you to be both the filmmaker and the star of your film. You can appear on screen or narrate your story through voiceover. Two winners will be chosen: one under 12 and one aged 12 and over. Each winner will receive a £150 voucher of their choice. Plus, four runners-up will get £20 cinema vouchers. The winning films will be showcased at the PQA Film Festival 2026 in London and Sheffield, where filmmakers will receive their awards.
